If there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s the mass adoption of any technology that requires awareness and faith in it. And the only way to achieve this is to educate the masses about it. ⚒️
But other than communities and newsletters (if we say so ourselves), we don’t see much of this effort from major. Seriously, who’s doing it in India?

Fortunately, we have one more name added to this list now, CoinDCX.
Early last week, CoindDCX with Forbes India announced Namaste Web3—an initiative to educate folks about Web3 and unbiased narratives about blockchain tech. But honestly, dude, what’s different about it for us to care? Good question.
A series of multi-city roadshows are planned, with Bangalore being the first stop, followed by Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, Pune, Indore, and Kolkata.
The forum will touch upon the role of Web3 in bringing socio-economic changes and navigating the shift from Web2 to Web3 and DeFi.
This will also include hands-on workshops on building dApps with decentralized hosting solutions.
The launch also focused on real-world solution building and taking the “Web3 revolution” across the nation.
Sumit Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of CoinDCX, said, “The period from 2023 to 2025 will be an inflection point in building for Web3 ecosystem; it’s important we nurture it. We might be noticing bearish sentiments in the market but this is the time the real building happens.”
Let’s see what Namaste Web3 brings to the table and caters to an India-specific builder community. But for now, it seems like good news for the Web3 community across the nation. 👏
This week we’d also like to highlight one NFT project we just couldn’t ignore.
What happened to Porsche NFTs? 🏎️
We like stories, so here’s one with ample twists and turns.
A long time ago (November 2022)…
Porsche's website launched an NFT page and created a Twitter account, eth_porsche. Later that month, Porsche displayed the collection in Art Basel Miami and announced the huge NFT release, a collection of 7,500 iconic 911 models, each with a unique license plate ranging from 1 to 7,500.
✅ They hinted at a gaming integration.
✅ They engaged with the community to do their research.
✅ They even created a discord!
Think about the enthusiasm and excitement they were riling up 🤩 NFT collectors and Porche fans were pumped up. 5-sec dance break, lessgo! 🕺

On the un-fateful day of 20th January, things started to go downhill.

3 days before the launch, Porche revealed the mint price, take a guess?
"Our project is your project”: Despite user feedback and suggestions of reducing the mint price, Porche went ahead and opened with 0.911 ETH; great!
The mint went live, and after the public mint, sales slowed down, and the NFTs were being resold at lower prices on secondary marketplaces. What did Porche say? ✋👂
Yet another disappointing release, so much for “research”.
What do we think, you ask? 🤓
We think the NFT projects are still stuck in the bull run of 2021 when every release was an easy cash grab. To revive the NFT market, we need better road maps, actual research (seriously, what research did Porche do?) and consideration of the market sentiment.
