So the biggest week Web3 weebs were waiting for just wrapped, The India Blockchain Week. We saw ETHIndia being the world’s largest Ethereum hackathon. Around 1700 builders participated, and we saw a glimpse of projects with the potential to take over the Web3 world soon.

But after all the hype has settled down and builder enthusiasm is up, even in these market conditions, let’s take our time to focus our attention on the core of Web3. For bear clouds may hide the enthusiasm for a while, but the collective vision keeps you warm to build.

Why do we need to work in these areas?
Centralized infrastructure
While Web3 is perceived to be decentralized, developers integrate Web3 applications with Web2 protocols to make them work. The functioning of dApps is hinged on a centralized infrastructure.
Lack of regulatory clarity
Another major challenge before Web3 is a lack of regulatory clarity. Technologies are advancing fast, and regulators will take time to catch up. The absence of regulatory oversight has led to unethical behaviour in some projects, as in the FTX fiasco.
Lack of trust
Rug pulls are another hindrance Web3 applications are facing. Everyone is wary of unsafe practices and Fraudulent individuals breaking through the defences. And unless people establish trust in it, Web3 can’t go mainstream.
But with quick advancements and visionary builders joining Web3 every day, it won’t be difficult seeing improved Web3 architecture and new users in the next bull run. Till then, never stop crafting.
