What Does the Future of Bitcoin Look Like? π€―
Letβs talk about Michael Saylor! The face behind MicroStrategy. π
π‘ MicroStrategy is a leading provider of business intelligence, mobile software, and cloud-based services, and Michael Saylor is the CEO.
Hold on tight! Thereβs going to be a lot of quoting here. Saylor did say some important stuff π¨
Here are some of his views on the increasing corporate interest in Bitcoin that he shared during a podcast interview. π
The growing involvement of third-party and corporate entities in the Bitcoin space is inevitable.
We need to be prepared for Bitcoin to infuse everything. As Bitcoin becomes more woven into our societal fabric, its applications will diversify, and a single approach won't be enough.
Bitcoin will have different "wrappers" or methods of holding and transacting, including self-custody, multi-sig, and layer-3 custodians.
The Need for Custodians π€¨
π‘ CustodiansΒ safeguard digital assets by ensuring that investors' private keys are maintained securely.
Saylor lists 3 primary reasons why custodians might be necessary. π
π©βπΌ Political Reasons: From a political standpoint, relying on a third party is necessary. As he puts it:βThe mayor of New York is still the mayor of New York. Unless you get rid of New York City, California or Iceland, the country, political reasons will mean the need for custodians.β
π Technical Reasons: As crypto transactions become more mainstream, people will prefer transacting easily via mobile phones, which will lead to more trust in third-party entities like Bank of America and Apple.
πββοΈNatural Reasons: There are scenarios where it's safer for us to trust others with our assets. βI didnβt complain that my mother and father had the car keys when I was twelve years old, and I didnβt get the car key,β πΒ Good analogy, huh!
More on What Saylor Says ππ»
Letβs all have an open-minded approach! π
βWe shouldnβt be afraid of all the different ways people integrate, wrap, embed or execute with Bitcoin; there is no one right answer; the marketplace will determine the right mix of integrations of Bitcoin.β
So, the market will ultimately define the best ways to integrate and use Bitcoin. Weβll have to wait and watch. π€ Read more.

Uniswap Drama Alert π¨ Memecoin Meltdown and Some Serious Firing!
Another storytime! π
Uniswap is at the centre of crypto whispers these days πΒ What happened?
All lights are on one of their devs AzFlin π¦Β who is accused of having rugged a meme coin project called FrensTech β a meme coin associated with the friend.tech social platform on Base.
Another shocker: AzFlin was found to be the developer of FrensTech. π€―
It's reported that AzFlin, shortly after launching the FrensTech meme coin on Uniswap, made a questionable move π€
He withdrew the liquidity he initially provided.
This allowed him to acquire 14 WETH tokens.
AND AzFlin is believed to have sold these tokens.
Now AzFlin, who is actually Allen Lin IRL, is a pretty big deal at Uniswap and has a public identity; the crypto community is not letting it slide by easily.
Hayden Adams, the founder of Uniswap, has tweeted that AzFlin has been let go π₯΅
AzFlin, however, whoβs in his βunemployment eraβ, says the 14E came from dev taxes and belonged to him π€
Well, rug or not, the accusing, the talking and the firing have all been done here.
The link between Uniswap and this shady action has sparked talks about the need for better checks, even in trusted companies. Whose side are you on here? Let us know in the comments below. Letβs talk! π¬ or Read more about it here.
