Vikingo, on the other hand, believes this won't happen until 2025.
The bet date is roughly a month before the halving, which is currently scheduled for April 26.
Back believes that the price will "probably" reach a new all-time high sooner than the actual date of the halving.

Bitcoin's halving is an event that occurs approximately every four years! The halving policy was written straight into Bitcoin's mining algorithm! Here’s what happens 👇

💰 The purpose of halving is to control the supply of Bitcoin, ensuring that it remains scarce and valuable over time.
📈 It is significant because it affects the inflation rate of Bitcoin, potentially leading to increased prices due to reduced supply.

Back might be putting down his own funds to back this claim, but it's not as much as you might think - it's a million satoshis, not U.S. dollars!
A satoshi, or "sat" for short, is the smallest denomination of Bitcoin.
1 million sats = $290 This could be over $1,000 if Back's prediction comes true!
Given Back's estimated net worth of between $50 and $300 million, this is a relatively small bet for him. 👀 missed the opportunity for Vikingo?
Despite the small size of the bet, it’s got market commentators and analysts hooked! Samson Mow also expects a new all-time high for Bitcoin "pre-halving, not post." There have also been predictions that the market is already in the early stages of a new bull cycle! 🐂
